This blanket is simply made with 4 ply knitting worsted yarn in a 

K4, P4 pattern.  

The free doll dress and hat pattern may be found on Lionbrand.com and 

Kit's American Girl doll cape is a free pattern from Ravelry.com. 

The zip up hooded baby sweater may be found in the Columbia Minerva Book 766 "Beautiful Baby Book, Infants to Four Years" on amazon.com.

The pattern is "Jack Frost".  It works up quickly and is perfect for children of all ages.
