Spring has sprung on our street - the pear trees are in bloom.

Sadly they don't last all that long so we enjoy them while we can!

With all the rain and early warmth we have been having, Spring is popping out all over!

And with temps in the 50's today and 60's tomorrow - can Spring be far away?

Photographs: Yet Another Snowy Day...

When will it end?  We received a few more inches of snow today with the promise of more inches over night.  The amounts for this winter are already breaking records.  I fear the reindeer will be on display until June at this rate!  

53 days until the first day of Spring on March 20th..... 

And here is an update after the overnight snowfall - one reindeer drowned in the fluffy white flakes and the other is barely holding his head above the new snow cover. 
 52 days until Spring....

This year this Christmas Cactus outdid itself in blooms.  It is a combination of cuttings from two different varieties, therefore the two different colors.  The only thing is, it bloomed well before Christmas...
