Needlework: Knitted Helmet



This helmet is one of many free patterns from Lion Brand Yarns. The skill level is "easy" and it works up fairly quickly.  Perfect for skiing or shoveling!

Thanks so much for posting this. I had been looking for a helmet pattern and had found one in crochet but not knit. Looks great! :-) Everyone needs to make one of these for their favorite medieval knight!

I agree..it does look medieval! I have seen similar patterns. I think it is cool that you can find some free patterns. I don't knit but I do crochet and have taken advantage of a couple of free patterns.

I think this is lovely and oh... so wish.... I could read patterns! I have tried and just cant - I knit and crochet out of my head :( Never know what it's going to end up looking like :) xx
