Crafts: Floor Lamp Gets a New Look

This floor lamp served it's purpose for a few years in our home before moving on to our son's apartment.  When it found it's way back to us I thought I'd try refinishing it to give it new life.
First I sanded off a good deal of the burgundy color and applied a Rustoleum spray metal primer.
Then I sprayed a few coats of Rustoleum paint in silver.  I also did the shade but because it has a fabric quality to it, the final look is not perfect.  Most likely I will simply replace the shade.

I love a can of spray paint, lol! Recently I took a plastic orange pumpkin and sprayed it white, so that it match my sunroom better.

I only saw two buttons on your blog for memes you were linked to. I didn't see mine at all. Usually you have lots of buttons on there, so I don't know if something went wrong on your end or I'm blind and just not seeing them. (Hopefully it's not my computer).

Anyway, thanks for linking up to Making Your Home Sing Monday!
