"Big Bird" and "Clown" were favorite costumes from years gone by. This clown was the first to wear the Big Bird costume and both were passed down to their younger sister in years to come, pictured in the lower photo. The clown pattern was from Butterick many years ago. Other years saw the Princess and the Witch also come to life as well as a convincing Dracula. We managed to get a lot of mileage from all the handmade costumes ! Happy Halloween !!
