Needlework: White Knitted Baby Pullover, Hat, Blanket and Ducky

This pullover with raglan sleeves can be found in Lovable Hand Knits, Infants to 4 years on Style number 2030. The hat is a pattern my mother used which is as follows:
Knit Hat:
Knitting worsted weight baby yarn probably less than 4 ozs.(The typed directions don't say)
Needles: size 4 and 6 (you can use circular or straight needles)
Starting at top of hat, cast on 6 sts.
Row 1: inc 1 st. in each of the 6 sts.
Row. 2: Purl
Row 3: (Increase 1 st., knit 1st.) to end of row. (18sts)
Row 4: Purl this and every even row.
Row 5: (Inc 1, K2) to end of row. (24 sts.)
Row 7: (Inc. 1, K3) to end of row. (30 sts.)
Row 9: (Inc. 1, K4) (36 sts.)
Row 11: (Inc. 1, K5) (42 sts.)
Row 13: (Inc. 1, K6) (48 sts.)
Row 15: (Inc. 1, K7) (54 sts.)
Row 17: (Inc. 1, K8) (60 sts.)
Row 19: (Inc. 1, K9 (66 sts.)
Row 21: ( Inc. 1, K10) (72 sts.)
Row 23: (Inc. 1, K11 (78 sts.)
Row 25: (Inc. 1, K12 (84 sts.)
After this increase there are 84 sts. on your needle.
Row 26: work in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl back) for 28 more rows (20 rows for small) or until you reach desired length.
Work in ribbing of K1,P1 for 2 inches and bind off. Sew seam and fold up ribbing.

The accompanying baby blanket is simply made by using stockinette stitch with a border of garter stitch.

This is beautiful, and white is so perfect if you're giving it as a give when you not sure if it's a boy or girl. Thanks for sharing, Mary :O)

Such a cute set. It could be embellished so easily with buttons, trim, appliqué, etc. And it would make such a sweet shower gift.

Thanks for linking to the party.
