The table set for Christmas Eve dinner last year included plates featuring a vintage Santa, place cards with baby photos of the guests and greens from our yard positioned in the chandelier and in Santa's sleigh on the table. A collection of Hallmark "house" ornaments hangs from the chandelier and stands here and there down the table runner. They are from the Nostalgic Houses Series of Hallmark Ornaments which were first issued in 1984.
Other years I have hung apples on red ribbons from the chandelier at varying lengths which is also a festive look for the table.
In the standing frame in the corner of the room I display photos of the family from previous holiday gatherings .
