Needlework: Pink Sweaters, Blanket and Booties

This is the second set I made for my daughter in law's recent baby shower. You can view the first set here.
It is my favorite knitted sweater once again - in pink this time - along with bootees and a stuffed elephant toy as well as an adorable baby blanket.
The sweater pattern is called "Jack Frost" from the Columbia Minerva Beautiful Baby Book.  Both the blanket and sweater patterns are available in this book on amazon.com.
The elephant is crocheted and  the bootees, No. 3005, can be found in "Lovable Hand Knits, Infant to 4 Yearsvol. 30 also available on amazon.com.
I also made the sweater in a size small so my future granddaughter won't have to wait so long to wear it!

I would also put my baby in these pretties. I remember when I had my boy's, my mum went off on a knitting tangent lol.. Though my eldest was a prem baby so I had so many knitted items for him because we couldn't find anything small enough. So he was dressed in dolls clothes (SHHHH! Don't tell him that though lol)

I enjoyed your post and I have found your from Friend making Friday. Thank you for sharing x

That is adorable! This is the kind of stuff I kept from when my girls were babies. The handmade(with love) items. They love to get them out and ask who made them for them.

These are so adorable! I wish we still had someone in the family that made things like this for our "future little one." Great job!

Thanks for joining me for Friday Favorites!
