Needlework: Hooded Sweater, Blanket and American Girl Doll Sweater

Once again, here is the hooded zip-up sweater from Columbia Minerva Book 766 "Beautiful Baby Book", Infants to Four Years available on amazon.com . The pattern is "Jack Frost"
The blanket is simply alternating sections of stockinette stitch and garter stitch, with a border of garter stitch.
In addition, I made a somewhat matching American Girl doll sweater from "Knits for Girls and Dolls" by Charlene Schurch also available on amazon.com.

  3. Oh my goodness, I love it all, but especially the sweater for the American Girl doll! My daughter would have loved it for her Samantha doll, but she's 21 now, so I guess she wouldn't really be interested, would she?!
    Happy REDnesday!

  15. That's a darling project. What little girl wouldn't love to have that (and what mother could resist it for her?) It just makes me smile -- red is my daughter's fav color. She's 22 now though. Thank you for sharing this on the Boardwalk Bragfest.

  16. What beautiful sweaters! I can crochet a scarf. I knitted the front of a sweater once, in 1985 and never learned how to make the arms. You people who can knit like this amaze me. How lovely!
