This clearly misnamed Christmas cactus is just now in full bloom. Is seems to be on more of a Spring schedule and who can blame it. It is a welcome addition to the master bath.
Just ten days ago it looked like this...

That is gorgeous!~ Mine only blooms once a year, at Christmas:)
How beautiful! I'm not sure I've seen a white Christmas cactus before. I had a red on for years - it bloomed randomly throughout the year.

My Christmas Cactus is red, also, the white is lovely. Mine thinks Christmas is in June, I think that maybe because I forget to water it until about May!!!!! It is one tough plant.
WOW! What a difference 10 days made! It is beautiful!
Had never seen one before...gorgeous!!
Wow! I could never get my Christmas Cactus to bloom! I don't really have much of a "green thumb" tho.
BEAUTIFUL!
Happy White Wednesday!

Lori

That is gorgeous.
I have a very old one of these that belonged to my maternal grandma who died when I was 5yrs old. It isn't as good as the modern ones but it is still going strong. Doesn't flower as well as the modern ones either.Mine is bright pink.
mine blooms about 4 times a year...so they don't name them right at all! Yours is gorgeous!!!
I am sorry it took so long to get over here and see...I just can't seem to get to the end of the busy around here these days! I do hope you will link in again...I have enjoyed my visit!
Gorgeous!! My mil's birthday was Christmas and she had a cactus that was huge. I tried to house it after her passing, but it was way to big for my little house. Passed it on and wished I'd taken a few starters from it.
