STUFFED MUSHROOMS
(printable recipe)
12 ozs. button mushrooms, wiped. Remove stems and save.
Chop stems and saute in 1/4 cup margarine.
Chop 1/4 cup onions and saute with stems.
Add 2 tablespoons cooking sherry and let soak into mixture.
Mix together: 3/4 cup of bread crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste.
Add to butter/stem mixture. Stuff caps. Place on foil covered cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes in a 375' oven. Can be prepared a day ahead and refrigerated - bake just before serving.

Oh, these do look delish and so easy to make. I always head to the stuffed mushrooms first, yet don't often make them myself. These look really doable.

I used to love mushrooms but I am allergic to them, so they don't love me, lol!

I can hardly look food in the eye this morning, after having cake and coffee with a group of friends last night. Why oh why do I do that!!

I don't like mushrooms, so I inadvertently "banned" them from my home! My husband does like them though and this sure looks like a great recipe to try out! Thanks for sharing.
