Many moons ago I did some oil paintings while taking a class. The teacher had us do a still life first, as evidenced by the "duck" painting, as well as copy greeting cards or magazine ads. It was enjoyable at the time but something I was unable to pursue at home with three small children underfoot. Now that I presumably have the time, I really should think about getting out the paint and brushes again but there still never seems to be enough time....

ReplyDeleteI love all of them! I tried oils a couple of times, but have stuck with acrylics. I hope you start painting again. I started because it relaxed me while I had 3 teenage boys. Now I do it just for me!
