Crafts: Easy Stool ReDo

Before
I decided to cover the seat of the chair in the guest bathroom with a towel.  It is very simple to do.
Just unscrew the screws holding the seat to the base.
Cut the towel/fabric large enough to cover up and over the sides.

Begin stapling the fabric at opposite sides, continuing around the seat.  Be sure to staple in far enough that the towel edge will be covered by the chair base, but not so far as to cover the screw holes in the seat.
Trim off the excess fabric to reveal the original screw holes.
Replace the base to the seat with the original screws.
After
Perfect!

I just found a stool a lot like that at a yard sale and I was wondering how to revamp it. It's going to be an outdoors piece of furniture, maybe some oilcloth. I'm still thinking. Thanks for the tutorial!!
