Crafts:: Oil Paintings

Many moons ago I did some oil paintings while taking a class. The teacher had us do a still life first, as evidenced by the "duck" painting, as well as copy greeting cards or magazine ads. It was enjoyable at the time but something I was unable to pursue at home with three small children underfoot. Now that I presumably have the time, I really should think about getting out the paint and brushes again but there still never seems to be enough time....

I am linking to many of these BLOG PARTIES

Those are really good. I especially like the one of the flowers in front of the window. You should pick it up again when you have the time.

The vase of flowers near the window is wonderful! I've always wished I could paint, but that is one crafty skill I am definitely without. Thanks for linking up to Craftastic Monday!

I love all of them! I tried oils a couple of times, but have stuck with acrylics. I hope you start painting again. I started because it relaxed me while I had 3 teenage boys. Now I do it just for me!
