Needlework: Crocheted Yellow Crib Blanket

This 36"x45" crib blanket is relatively easy and adding the blanket binding gives it a professional touch. You can find this and other useful patterns in Lovable Hand Knits, Infants to 4 Years on amazon.com.

Materials: Bear Brand, Fleisher's or Botany Winfant, 9 ozs; 5 yards Nylon Blanket Binding
Crochet Hook: Size F
Gauge: 4 spaces = 2 inches 21 rows = 4 inches

Pattern: Multiple of 4 plus 2. Chain 218
Row 1 - 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, *ch 3, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in next ch, repeat from * to end; 72 spaces
Row 2 - Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in first sc, * ch 3, 1 sc in space under next ch 3; repeat from *, end 1 sc in last sc.

Repeat last row for pattern until about 45 inches from beginning. Fasten off.

Finishing: Steam lightly. Bind with blanket finding as illustrated.
