Needlework: Crewel and Cross Stitch

Here are some more samples of needlepoint and crewel work that I did in the past. The one featuring grandchildren was a gift for my mother-in-law seven years too soon as it is missing three grandchildren who came along later....timing is everything.  Click here to see other examples.

All your stitching projects are lovely! I especially like the flower seeds one, in the last picture.

These are wonderful! I used to cross stitch when I was a little girl, actually. My mom started me up on it, and I had my own supplies and everything. I made quite a few things, then....I got into my teens...life got busy. Then high school, college, work, marriage....children. I just let life get in the way of something that I once loved to do~ I should start it up again. I remember it was such a peaceful craft to do.

I saw your link on the 'I Love My Online Friends" blog hop. I'm your newest follower :)

Those are nice. My mom used to do that. She hasn't for while now though. Not sure why. She has become a farmville addict of course...that might explain it. New follower.

The one that says "teacher" would be appropriate for me. Pretty please? :-)

Will not let green go to her head;
Instead she will seek
Her senses to pique
With cherry and crimson instead.
