Homemaking-Remodeling: Up Hall

Before and After

For over twenty years these photos were displayed in our homes. They are a collection of family photos accumulated over the years. The yellow hat was worn by my grandfather in the group photo under it. It was taken in the 1930's when he was a member of the Miami Beach Patrol.
When we decided to paint, the photos were relegated to albums. Hammering in all those nails again, not an option !
As much as I loved having the photos on display, it was time to move on.

The paint color is Benjamin Moore's "Whitestone" and the paint process included painting all the "stained" trim, white which made a huge difference throughout the house.

Very nice. Less distracting and more soothing to look at, great job!

I liked how you displayed the family photos, but it is more restful with a mostly nekkid wall!
