Homemaking-Remodeling: Front Entry Hall

Vintage books are displayed between the balusters on the front stairs.
The antique marble topped table belonged to my grandparents whose wedding invitation hangs along with ours above the table. They were wed in November 1900 !  I decoupaged them onto wooden plaques using Mod Podge which should preserve them for years to come.

Your hall looks nice! That is so sweet that you have displayed your grandparents wedding invitation along with yours. Your vintage books look nice. The only thing on my stairs are the piles of things that need to be carried upstairs and put away, like a sock that got dropped in the last load of laundry, and a pile of bills. :-)

Your entry is just gorgeous. I love the stairs and the books are such a great idea. The marble table is beautiful. What a treasure to have along with the wedding invitation. Stunning. Hugs, Marty

How neat to have an invitation that old!! Have you thought about framing a wedding picture to sit on the table (or is there one and i missed it)?

You have your grandparent's wedding invitation? That's amazing. I WISH I had something like that. I love that you display it too.

On another note, love that your wreath is inside the door instead of outside.
